  Someone famous, whose name escapes me, once said that "it is possible to have orthodox doctrine without having an orthodox character," but that having one without the other wouldn't do a person much good. In my experiences of them, the parishioners of Holy Cross Orthodox Church have combined the depth of the ancient faith of Christ's disciples with a deep and endearing love for one another that becomes evident when one stays to visit with them after their Sunday service. For anyone who yearns to experience the ancient Christian faith put into practice in the Williamsport area, Holy Cross Orthodox Church is a place you must visit.
